Clymer Assigned to Hershey
According to Capitals Insider, Ben Clymer has cleared waivers and been assigned to the Hershey Bears. Also, Tomas Fleischmann has been signed to a 1-year two-way contract. The Caps have to make at least one or two more roster moves before the NHL deadline at 3 PM tomorrow.
Clymer played 143 games for the Caps over the past two seasons. He recorded 23 goals and 30 assists for 53 points. On the power play he had 3 goals and 13 assists. Three of his goals were game winners. He accrued 116 minutes in penalties and was a star of the game 6 times.
