Alexander Semin continued his hot streak but his two goal effort was not enough as the Devils defeated the Caps in an overtime shootout. The lone goal came on 1 of 2 5-on-3 advantages. The penalty killed looked a bit better but still allowed 1 goal on 4 attempts.
