Brian Pothier's 3rd period power play goal gave the Caps all they would need to put away the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was Pothier's 1st game-winner as a Capital. David Steckel scored his second goal of the year and after sitting out against Buffalo on Friday, Tomas Fleischmann had a 2-point night with a goal and an assist. Brent Johnson won his second consecutive start stopping 23 of 25 shots. The Caps now head to Detroit to take on the Red Wings who are currently the #1 team in point in the entire NHL.Of Note:
