Preview:
The Capitals lost out on two potential standings points against Boston as the Caps were called for 5 penalties in the final eight minutes leading two Boston 5-on-3 goals and giving them a 2-1 win. The Caps were pretty upset with the end of the game so look for them to take it out on the Pens. It’s going to be a very physical game as the Caps need to scratch out every point they can to get into playoff position. The Pens should have their 1st liners back so it will be important not to give them unnecessary power plays. The Caps power play got on the board again against Boston and has connected for 11 goals in their last 10 games. Both teams always get up for this one but I think the Caps will have more fire than the Pens.

Joe’s prediction: Caps 5 PIT 3
